JuIia STORY: Ever since my brother walked out, I’ve been feeling a bit strange. I don’t know what I’m feeling to be honest. There’s a sense of guilt running down my spine and it’s not very comforting. I hear a text calling me from a little rectangle pad. Technology has always made me wonder. Like, how does someone create a little box that replaces most things you need? I look over, across the table where it’s sitting, as I try not to chop my fingers with this knife. Mum’s making tacos tonight and I’m helping chopping all the ingredients. The text is from my brother. I actually haven’t seen a text from him in ages. The text reads: Im sorry. About everything. Tell mum im sorry will you? I know im a horrible person. But please forgive me. He’s sorry? A bit surprising to hear that from him. I’ll reply to him later though, can’t have tomato juice on my phone. I go up to my room and pass my brother’s bedroom. Nothing’s ever gonna be the same without him. I grab my phone and reply to his message: Yes, youve been kinda horrible to me but... sure ill forgive ya He’s online but he’s not reading it. Strange. I guess I’ll just find out what he says in the morning.
